…in one God who, in three persons as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, has chosen to manifest Himself as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all life (Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19, John 3:34-35).
…that all scripture is the Word of God written by mankind under the inspiration of God. The Bible is without error and is the final authority over our how we are to live our lives. It contains all that is necessary for living
(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
…that all mankind has sinned by choosing to live independently of God, trusting in our own wisdom. As such, we have all fallen short of God’s intended way of living and His glory and, if choosing to remain estranged from God, deserve the eternal judgment of Hell
(Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23, and Romans 6:23).
…that God, in His mercy, made a way for mankind to be redeemed through the death of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His shed blood on Calvary’s cross as the only acceptable sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, and His ascension to Heaven to sit at the Father’s right hand. Jesus gave His life that we might be brought once again into right relationship with God – that we might be ‘born again’ (1 Corinthians 1:30-31; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:14; Romans 5:8; John 6:37)…that Jesus rose again from the dead, appeared to many on the earth and was taken up into Heaven to be with the Father God from which position He exercises His Lordship over all (I Peter 1:3; Mark 16:19).
…that this redemption or salvation is available to all as a free gift; that it cannot be earned, but must be received by our individual decision. We believe that it is all-inclusive and brings forgiveness from sin, restoration/healing for our bodies, soundness for our minds, prosperity, and preservation/protection (John 3:36; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9; Isaiah 53:4-6; 1 Peter 2:24).
…in water baptism by immersion as an outward and visible sign of an individual’s commitment to follow Jesus into His salvation
(Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-39).
…that the Father sent the Holy Spirit to us that we might be sustained, guided, taught, comforted, and empowered to participate in God’s continuing plan for mankind (John 14:16-17; John 16: 13-15; Acts 1:8; Acts 9:17).
…in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, expressed with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe this experience is distinct from and subsequent to, the new birth and can be received by faith. This is God’s design to bring a Christian power and authority for holy and productive living (Mark 16:17; Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Galatians 3:2).
…that the manifestations of the Holy Spirit through His spiritual gifts, ministry gifts and anointings are as much a part of life today as they were in Bible times (Romans 12:6-8; Ephesians 4:10-11; John 14:12; 2 Corinthians 12:7-11; 1 Peter 4:10).
…In a church body that is comprised of believers worldwide who have received new birth through their belief and confession of Jesus Christ as their Lord and that continues to meet together to encourage one another (Hebrews 10:25).
…in the resurrection of the Christian believer and the unbeliever; one to everlasting life in Heaven and one to eternal damnation in Hell (Matthew 25:46).
…that the Lord Jesus Christ will return a second time in a literal, physical manner to receive all believers who have received salvation through His forgiveness and their confession of faith in Him and take them to be with Him in Heaven with the Father and Holy Spirit forever (Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16; John 14:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
